The commercial’s chain reaction is set off by a bouncing ball which rolls about triggering additional chain reactions in and around the showcased merchandise.

We took the client’s carefully crafted animatic and created in-camera setups and effects to work with their designs.

We worked closely with Partington to R&D and rehearse the individual vignettes, making sure we could hit the mark every time.

Our team designed and built the mechanisms and rigs which supported the different scenes, constructed the set, and operated the sequences in camera.

Our huge studio space housed all the furniture and accessories, and left ample space for the set, crew, lighting and camera equipment.

Once the ball got rolling, the final result was a great success!

This isn’t our first “action/reaction” project with Partington. Years ago we created a peristaltic system for a commercial that captured energy created from passing cars and powered a Volvo SUV.
