How do you sell premium beach-front real estate at a record setting pace?

The Hotel Del Coronado has been an iconic vacation destination for celebrities, presidents and royalty for over 100 years. It’s well known for its expansive beaches, luxury dining and shopping, and easily recognized by its famous red roof and enormous turret. Shore House at The Del is a real estate development on the grounds of the famed hotel, offering many of the coveted hotel amenities along with the opportunity to own part of a new opulent living experience.

Our client, known for successful marketing campaigns focused on “lifestyle, brand storytelling and consumer engagement”, contacted us to help them develop an immersive experience that captured The Del’s seaside nostalgia, and showcased the exciting new Shore House real estate development.

The result was our transformation of a lobby space at the hotel into an attractive “Del”-like environment that captivated and enlightened hotel guests with our 10’ x 6’ interactive architectural model which guided them through the Shore House sales experience.

Since its installation, the gallery and model have generated hundreds of direct inquiries and set a record pace for Shore House real estate sales.

How did we do this?

We first visited the hotel and scouted the area where the sales gallery was to be established, taking into consideration everything from historic architectural obstacles, to the flow of guest foot traffic.

Our digital team went through extensive work to piece together over 130 years of the hotel’s architectural records in order to create digital assets needed for 3D printing, laser cutting and CNC machining the thousands of detailed pieces we used to construct the model prominently featured in the center of the gallery space.

What we Provided for our client

We assisted our client with both design concept and design development, providing them with digital models and concept renderings for pre-visualizing the environment.

By way of integrated touchscreen, participants can activate the lights for each residential unit indicating where on the model it is located along with other points of interest. The software we developed for this interactive system maintains a seamless connection between the model and the Shore House website allowing our client to remotely update content and collect useful information from their potential buyers.

We pre-built the gallery walls to minimize disruption at the hotel, and designed them to be easily installed and removed without damage to the historic building.

The final result

The inviting gallery space and interactive sales model captivated and informed guests of the new Shore House real estate opportunities while submerging them into a world of lifestyle-relatable enjoyment and seaside living. This new sales experience has generated hundreds of inquiries and successfully increased sales of the Shore House residencies at a record pace.
