We work with industries including but not limited to: the automotive, design, fashion, motion picture, development/prototype, tech, and television; as well as festival and experiential events for industries across the board.

We cover anything from Design & Concept to Installation & Event Support and everything in between. We dream big, we make the unmakeable – and we need big dreamers like you! We are looking for a Production/Project Manager with fabrication and/or construction skills to join our team.

The Production/Project Manager will work closely with our Team Leads and other crew members, effectively communicating with all parties – internal and external. You must be able to swiftly manage one or more projects, usually with demanding deadlines from start to finish, and know where each project stands at all times. You must enjoy using your fabrication/construction skills when needed, and enthusiastically adapt to additional tasks in our studio.

Our ideal candidate would have previous experience in the industry; but it would be a great fit for those with a construction or engineering background looking to make a move into a more creative space. This job requires a highly developed sense of how to plan and coordinate project resources, all with exceptional attention to detail. You must be able to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and exceed expectations. You must be presentable, smart, energetic, and proactive. Your schedule needs to be flexible and will sometimes require travel, late nights, and/or weekends. You must be local to the South Bay or surrounding LA and Orange County areas, and work on premises in our South Bay studio.

Tasks Include but are not Limited to:

  • Lead day to day communication with Senior Management and Fabrication crews regarding

  • project status and needs, ensuring project is on schedule and meeting deadlines.

  • Identify and describe Scope of Work and develop project budget/schedules/and estimates.

  • Facilitate and actively take part in project meetings.

  • Produce meeting notes and delegate tasks accordingly.

  • Ensure all project documents are current and accurate. Including but not limited to: Estimates,

  • Elements lists and work schedules.

  • Maintain projects digitally. Including but not limited to: Assets, Estimates, and client

  • communication.

  • Work with Procurement to identify, source and manage appropriate vendors and suppliers with

  • given supply chains.

  • Work with Fabrication crews to execute prototypes and all build elements.

  • Work on the fabrication floor as needed.

  • Keep an up to date audit on all resources.

  • Identify and communicate project challenges and brainstorm solutions with Senior Management across all teams.

  • Coordinate all change orders along the project timeline.

  • Develop, own, and manage project work and deliverables schedule.

  • Deliver great service to our clients and help facilitate their needs.

  • Identify future needs and ways the company’s capabilities can help further clients goals.

  • Quality control of all elements throughout the production process.

  • Other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Requirements:

  • Two to four years of minimum experience in a Project Management role.

  • Two years minimum fabrication and/or construction experience.

  • Ability to develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stake holders and ensuring feasibility.

  • Ability to coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Ability to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

  • Ability to ensure resource availability and allocation.

  • Excellent leadership and coordination skills. Solution oriented thinker.

  • Highly organized and attention to detail. Be able to jump in and “get your hands dirty” when needed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Budget Management. Knowledge of materials.

  • Ability to exercise discretion with sensitive information.

  • 3D Modeling Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Construction skills, including installation and strike

  • Effects Experience

  • Electrical Skills

  • Knowledge of the Mold & Cast process

  • Industrial Design Knowledge

  • Painting Skills

  • Programming Skills

  • Set and Prop building experience
